Free At Last is at the forefront of the renewal of our community, playing a critical role in reclaiming the streets from drugs and crime. The homicide rate is down by 97%. Free At Last’s programs are effectively contributing to the reduction in high rates of addiction, family disintegration, homelessness, unemployment, crime and incarceration, domestic violence, and the spread of HIV.
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING: Affordable shared housing for individuals in recovery, offering them the chance to establish stable employment, credit and tenancy history in a safe, supportive environment.
ONGOING AFTERCARE SUPPORT OF ALUMNI: Clean and sober activities and aftercare support groups are essential to the prevention of relapse.
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM: Former clients are eligible to apply for an apprentice position on staff after two years in recovery.
